Overview 

Samantha Casselman, DNP, CPNP-PC, is an expert in pediatric dermatology who had previously practiced using an asynchronous telehealth model. She recently expanded to include a brick-and-mortar practice offering services including cryotherapy, cantharidin, and intralesional steroid injections. 

Challenges

This NP owner wanted to focus on her patients, not business operations. In addition, while she had an existing website, it did not have the functionality, scalability, and SEO optimization needed for her growing practice. She also wanted to minimize start-up time and cost.

The need to maintain a strong online presence and deploy effective marketing techniques would be key to this practice’s success, yet doing so presented a complex array of hurdles to overcome. Despite these challenges, the digital marketing opportunities for this independent NP were immense.
